Theatre Junction GRAND is Calgary’s culturehouse for contemporary live arts. Since 2006, the theatre has become a centre for creation, presentation, and dissemination of contemporary performance from Calgary, Canada, and around the world.

Theatre Junction Grand is a space to think collectively and to activate the individual as a participant in a vibrant society, where the artist and the spectator converge to bring the theatre to life and make apparent its diversity, vitality and necessity.
MISSION
Theatre Junction GRAND is Calgary’s culturehouse for contemporary live arts. We support creation based work across disciplines. We are the ‘junction’ where people, ideas, and art forms converge to celebrate differences, open new possibilities, and move in new directions.
MANDATE
Creation: Theatre Junction supports the creation of new work. Theatre, dance, music and visual art cross each other in a search for new languages and forms.
Presentation: Theatre Junction presents local, national, and international creation-based artists in theatre, dance, music and new forms, providing a national and international context for contemporary live art in Calgary.
Dissemination: Theatre Junction is committed to tour new work created at Theatre Junction to Canada and the world.
