19may7:00 pmMark Hopkins & Pam Tzeng // TBAPay What You Can

Event Details

Mark Hopkins (of Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre) and Pam Tzeng (of Make Shift Dance Project) want to create something together. Their artistic careers have been orbiting one another for years. Mark is trained as a writer, and has spent the past decade creating site-specific theatre in collaborative processes. Pam is a biologist turned performing artist and choreographer, whose self-authored work is rooted in the moving body and further informed by her passion for mask, clown and object animation. They both love experimentation, creating wild experiences, and tackling socially-engaged, cutting-edge subjects. They’re going to spend a week together in the Theatre Junction GRAND Studio. Come and see the results.
