Tim Uniac: a dream manipulation

3f8e2d5

Tim Uniac is a sound designer in Calgary, Alberta and he is currently the Head of Sound at Theatre Junction!

What will you show us at The Dream Factory?

How easily your brain can be manipulated!  Super fun!

If you had a dream for the Calgary Arts scene, what would it be?

People would stop assuming its dying because it doesn’t resemble other cities art scenes. Calgary has a unique arts scene that is incredibly supportive of you take the time to get involved and put the work in.

Do you have a recurring dream?

Not really. Mostly I’m doing something mundane, and the only odd thing is a celebrity is there or there’s a wall where there shouldn’t be.

What did you last dream about?

Work most likely.

Name 5 things or people you are inspired by.

1- Boredom. I get bored easily and move on.

2- Technology. When a piece of technology seems to simple yet genius, I get very excited.

3- Music. 90% of my ideas come when listening to music.  And usually it’s pretty closely related to whatever I’m listening to.

4- The internet. Internet culture is the greatest and worst thing to have happened to humans since opposable thumbs.

5- Bored, moving on.

Do you dream in colour or black and white?

Pretty sure colour. Maybe.

You can catch Tim Uniac at The Dream Factory on April 22nd. Don’t have your tickets yet? Get them here: http://www.theatrejunction.com/la-nuit-sauvage/
